Wilson Lopez

Wilson Lopez, 80, of Ashtabula passed away on July 18, 2024.

Born April 25, 1944 to Hermanhildo Lopez and Epifania (Rodriguez) in Cayey, Puerto Rico.

Wilson work over 37 years for New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail, and finally retiring from CSX Rail Road as a trackman.

He married the love of his life Barbara Burch on September 10, 1968 in Ashtabula, he was very active in Alcoholic Anonymous and was very proud of his 42 years of sobriety. He loved spending his time with his family and working around the house.

Wilson is survived by his wife Barbara Lopez, children Teresa, Wilson (Leesa), Rick (Marnie), Orlando and Sonia. brother Tony, sisters Mercedes and Hilda, 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roberto.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday July 23, 2024 in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. Ashtabula at 11:00 A.M. with Father Phillip Miller officiating , Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.  Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
