VerLillian (Richardson) Hinson

VerLillian Hinson, aged 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 4, 2025, at Ybor City Hospital, Ybor, Florida. She was born on April 9, 1943, in Canton, Mississippi, to Jesse and Corine Richardson. She was a 1961 graduate of Canton Public Schools. In 1965 she moved to Ashtabula, OH, to be close to her sister and family. She was a proud resident of Ashtabula, OH, and also had resided in Avon Park, FL.  She worked as a chemical technician and retired from IMC, which is now Ashta Chemicals, Inc. in Ashtabula, OH. She was married to John Hinson, in Ashtabula, OH, who preceded her in death.

VerLillian was very outgoing and loved sewing, fashion, and traveling. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Minnie (Brown) Lathan; and brother, Jesse Richardson. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Erskine Lathan, Melody (Lathan) Bradley, Darrell Lathan, Phillip Lathan, Douglas Lathan, Reggie Richardson, and Rhonda (Richardson) Cooke, and also cousin, Goldie Hanna, and many great nieces and nephews.
