Sue “Tsuruko” Tetrick of Austinburg, passed away peacefully with family by her side after a short battle with cancer, on March 22, 2020. She was born on February 14, 1945, in Kwantung, Manchuria. Daughter of Haung Jun Choe and Bong Yah Park. She was married to Kris R. Tetrick.
While growing up in Inchon, Korea, she endured and overcame many hardships which created her character of strength, courage, and tenacity. These qualities are what lead to her great success here in America. Later in life she was a homemaker, former employee of Smith and Wesson, stained glass artist, and owner of Old World Stain Glass studios in Austinburg, Ohio. She was the successful owner and operator of The Grand River Manor. Sue enjoyed gardening, orchids, and shopping. She found her greatest joy in traveling, and spending time with her family.
She will be remembered by her son Johnny Tetrick, his wife Karen Tetrick, and three grandchildren Falon, Regan and Eden Tetrick. A private family service was held Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Guerriero Funeral Home. She was laid to rest at the Mechanicsville Cemetery.
