Stanley A. Osowski

Stanley A. Osowski, 81, of Ashtabula died on August 3 2018 in the hospice unit at ACMC with his family by his side.
Stan was born October 17 1936 in Cleveland, OH.  He was the son of the late Stanley E. and Mary Osowski.
Stan was a graduate of Ashtabula High School class of 1954.  It was there he met the love of his life Darlene Pankowski.  Stan and Darlene were united in marriage on June 16 1956 at St. Josephs church in Ashtabula.  They celebrated 62 years of happiness together.  Stan loved his wife dearly giving her beautiful flowers and gifts for every occasion.  He signed every note and card "love always".
Stan was a hard working man giving his all at every job or project he was working on. While Stan lived in Ashtabula he worked at Inland Container and Rockwell Brake.   He also lived in West Pam Beach, Florida for many years retiring from PGA National.
Stan loved to be outside and took great pride in his yard, he was quite meticulous about it, but that was one of his joys.  He loved his Cleveland sport's teams and would rarely miss watching their games.  Stan was active in his children's activities while they were growing up.  He coached Little League Baseball for many years down at Cedarquist Park.  He belonged to the Harbor High School Athletic Boosters, when his sons played football.
Stan enjoyed the sun and the beach.  When his children were younger, him and his wife, would pack a cooler and spend the entire day at the beach.   He was a great swimmer and loved the sunshine up until his final days.
Stan is survived by his wife, Darlene of 62 years, his children, Gina (Denver) Haught, Stan ( Jill) Osowski, Debbie (Rob ) Johnson, all of Ashtabula, Michael (Jane Harding) Osowski of Florida. Grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Jarrod, Erin (Paul) Siler, Megan, Justin (Laura) Osowski, Samantha, Sydney, Isabella.  He was proud to be a great-grandfather to Paul and Logan Siler.  Siblings, Mary Larson, Ted Osowski. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Steven.
Memorial Service will be on tuesday Aug. 7 at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7
