Ronald Ovak Obituary

Ronald Ovak (77) of Ashtabula passed on Jan. 2, 2021 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer , at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.

Born March 8, 1943 in Ashtabula he was the son of Steve and Margaret (Ucciferri ) Ovak.

Ron graduated from St. John High School Class of 61 and was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard. He retired from the City of Ashtabula as the animal control officer.

He enjoyed fishing , hunting , the race track ,and playing poker.

He is survived by his son Chad Ovak , daughter Tara Ovak , brother Stephen (Patty )Ovak , sister in law Marcia Ovak , brother in law James Cusano , 5 grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents , daughter Ronnette Ovak , sister Judy Cusano brothers Gene and Bob Ovak.
