Roger B. Del Prince age 85, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 4, 2019. He was born on December 18, 1933 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Guy and Josephine (Platano) Del Prince.Roger was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea.He was married to Eva (Uonelli) Del Prince on November 19, 1955. Roger owned the El Grande Steak House and enjoyed serving his customers. He especially enjoyed being at home and having Sunday dinners with his family.
Survived by his wife Eva, son Guy (Emily) Del Prince, 3 grandchildren Eva (Anthony) Mucci, Roger Del Prince and Sara Del Prince.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister Patti (Cooper).
Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday Oct. 8 at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard Team from post 103. Visitation will be Monday (Today) from 5 to 8 P.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Western Reserve for the compassion and Christian love given to Roger and his family. Contributions may be sent to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
