Robert Anthony Rose

Robert Anthony Rose (63) of Medina passed on November 17, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Born May 4, 1960 in Ashtabula he was the son of Eugene and Palma (Izzi) Rose.

Bob graduated from St. John High school Class of 1978 and with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron. He retired after 38 years’ service with First Energy. He and his wife Anita were married on Dec. 31, 2018 in Medina, Ohio.

As a car enthusiast Bob was a member of the Good Guys Rod and Custom Association and The National Hot Rod Association. He was also a member of the Cuyahoga Sportsmen’s Association. He was an avid hunter, shooter, and golfer. He enjoyed football and baseball as a student and also enjoyed wood working and grilling. He loved time spent with family.

Survivors include his wife Anita Rose , children Robert Rose , Ryan (Allison) Rose , Bryan Rose , step children Megan (Jon) Toitch , Bobby (Lindsey) Stowers , Linde (Brett) McCarthy , grandchildren Madison Lee Rose , Evan Toitch , Madelyn Toitch , Camden Stowers and Mila Stowers , sister Carla Rose , and nieces Krista and Kayla Johnston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Laura Lee Rose.

Funeral service will be on Saturday at 2 P.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home

1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula with Father Raymond Thomas of Our Lady of Peace Parish officiating, Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 11 till 2 at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
