Robert Michael Pohto II "Bobby", age 44, of Ashtabula passed on November 14, 2020. He was born in Madison, Ohio on August 15, 1976 the son of Robert and Linda Pohto. A 1995 Ashtabula County Vo-ed graduate from the welding program. Following graduation Bobby started driving a dump truck like his dad and papa. Bobby wore his heart on his sleeve and had a special way of bringing the family together. Bobby was a loving son and he was always there to take care of his family especially his parents. He was his dad's "Rock" and best friend. Bobby spoiled his mom, somehow he always knew what she needed or wanted. He enjoyed cook outs, of course he was the man behind the grill, and camping with the whole family. Everyone always looked forward to 4th of July, Bobby loved putting on a great firework show. He was a hard worker and known for his mechanical abilities. Bobby and his dad rebuilt his most recent Mack truck, they were always working side by side fixing something, between the two of them they could practically fabricate anything. He had a big heart with a soft spot for animals, his dog Shi-Shi was his princess. Bobby enjoyed time spent outside, he liked Mines and Meadows and wanted everyone to come enjoy the thrill of riding four wheelers and side by sides with him- getting muddy! His nieces and nephews loved spending time with their Uncle Bobby. They enjoyed gardening, being pulled on the sled, going to work in the dump truck, fishing, and of course golf-cart rides. Time spent with Bobby was always special and he was loved by all! Bobby is survived by his parents Robert and Linda Pohto, his sisters Angie Walker, and Tammy (John) Ross. Along with his nieces and nephews Kaila, Jerami, Audrey, Dylan, Lily, and his great niece Marlie and uncles, aunts, and cousins. And of course his beloved Shiloh.
