Robert F. Novotny

Robert F. Novotny died on January 31 at the age of 86. A teacher of Spanish language at Buckeye Local Schools for many years and affectionately known by his students as “el pavo”, he dedicated his life to teaching Spanish and its worldwide cultural heritage.  As a follower of Borges, he ascribed to the philosophy of “Let each man build his own cathedral. “  He is survived by his spouse, Jeanne, of 57 years and his son James.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Feb. 7 at 11:00 A.M. in Mt. Carmel Church. Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
