Ramona Timonere Obituary

RaMona (Mona) Ann Timonere, 58, formerly of Altus, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in Ashtabula, Ohio, surrounded by her loving husband and caregiver Joseph Timonere of Ashtabula, Ohio, and her son, Landon Hice of Erie, Pennsylvania, on November 9th, 2020.

Mona was a Legal Assistant and proudly worked for the Office of Jerry Lemire and several other attorneys. Recently, she enjoyed and took pride in her Human Resources position with CoreCivic, where she made many new and supportive friends with her coworkers.

Mona was also a Cake and Cookie Designer and Instructor at Ashtabula County A-tech. Her online Bakery, Petal Sweet Cakery, showcases many of her talented designs including her ‘Summer Harvest Cake’ that was featured on “Cake Central”. She will be remembered by her students, clients and family for her many works of art, which she so enjoyed sharing for holidays, birthdays and special occasions. She also tirelessly shared her devotion to mask-making and distribution with hundreds of people during the Covid virus just prior to her diagnosis and passing. But above all of her praiseworthy accomplishments, Mona will be remembered for her beautiful, positive disposition, and her ability to always present herself with the utmost of kindness to everyone she met.

RaMona was born to Wilma and Wallace West on February 23, 1962 in Ozark, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jancee Hice. She is survived by her husband, her parents, her son, two daughters Brianne Hice of VanBuren, Arkansas and Kayla (Daniel) of Ozark, Arkansas, one sister, Hope (Dewayne) Freeman, two brothers,  Earl (Denise) West and Lee West, all of Altus. Mona also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and her loving Ohio family which includes her sister-in-law Donna (Joseph) Timonere Bellomo and their children Jason and Jenna (Christopher) Beagle and great nephew Abram Beagle, and sister-in-law Charla (Edward) Timonere Sarbiewski.
