Patricia A. (Goudy) Whitcomb

Patricia A. Whitcomb (Goudy), 79, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on April 20, 2026. Born in1946 in Ashtabula, she remained a lifelong resident of the community she loved. Patricia graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1964 and went on to work for many years as a dedicated medical transcriptionist. She was also a lifetime member of the Women’s Auxiliary at American Legion Post 103, where she maintained strong ties to her community. She spent the last 12 years of her life at the Country Club Retirement Campus, where she continued to cherish time with friends and family. She especially loved hosting holiday gatherings, bringing friends and family together for food, laughter, and love .Patricia was known for her warmth, generosity, and her unwavering concern that everyone around her was well cared for—especially when it came to making sure no one ever left her home hungry. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Royce J. Whitcomb; her sister, Pam (Dave) Haapala; and her brothers, Joe and Roger Goudy .She is survived by her son, Ted Whitcomb; her sister-in-law, Madelin (Joe) Goudy; her sister-in-law, Christine (Roger) Goudy; her brother-in-law, Richard(Nella)Logan; and a multitude of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Calling hours will be held at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, Ohio, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m., with a brief service to follow at 12:00 noon. A procession will take place immediately following the service to St. Joseph Cemetery for interment.
