Born June 6 1923, the son of Blanche (David) and Antoine Lesperance
Our wonderful father, grandfather and friend went to Heaven this morning Friday April 24, 2020.
A 1942 Graduate of Harbor High School. He was a US Army Veteran. Enlisting in 1943, served as a railroad repairman in France. Private Bi, Branch Immaterial –Warrant Officers USA. Frenchy retired from The Ashtabula and Buffalo Dock in 1984, and also worked at the Geneva on the Lake Golf Course filling carts for many years. He loved the game of golf. Played often and won many tournaments even in his 90s.
He was a member of the VFW, Elks Lodge, East Ashtabula club, American Legion post #103, Eagles, and Young Men’s Social Club. Also a member OF Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mt Carmel Church.
Survived by Son Tim Lesperance of Ashtabula, Daughter Mary Duck Mienko (Gary Rudokas) of Middletown Ohio, and Daughter In Law Deborah Lesperance of Ashtabula.
Also survived by Grandchildren : David (Lisa) Lesperance., Heidi (Roger Harrah) Lesperance, Bobbi (Jerry) Weeks, Heather (Greg) Geis, Paul Mienko, Shaun (Sarah) Mienko, Eric (Angie) Mienko, Rusty Lesperance, Andrew Lesperance, Marty(Patsy) Lesperance and Kristen (Craig) Dominque , 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by His wife Frances (Severa) Lesperance, son Michael David Lesperance. sisters Rita Krape and Helena Raisanen, brother David Lesperance and parents Blanche and Antoine Lesperance
HE loved Life, he loved his Family and He loved his Friends and Acquaintances. Private family service will be held entombment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
