We are very sad to announce the passing of Mary Grace on July 12th, 2025. She recently celebrated her 91st birthday and most recently her 60th wedding anniversary. She dedicated her life to her husband, her family, and her faith, had a vibrant zest for life, and epitomized our Lord's compassionate spirit while serving her community.
She was born June 25, 1934, in Ashtabula, as the middle child of three to Marion (DiMare) and Anthony Paolillo. She graduated from Ashtabula high school in 1952, found her soul mate in Sam DiSalvatore and they were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, July 10, 1965.
Mary Grace was a devout Catholic woman. She was deeply committed to her faith at Mount Carmel (Our Lady of Peace) church her entire life. She supported her husband, Sam, in his pursuit of DiSalvatore Ins. Agency that is still a thriving and respected organization within northeast Ohio. While building their lives together, they raised 4 children with the same passion for Christ, family and community.
She enjoyed gathering with her family, which now including 13 grandchildren, with her amazing food being at the center of each event. When not cooking and baking, she enjoyed playing cards, or driving to the lake, wineries, outdoor shows, or her grandchildren's events. Her family was easily the cornerstone of her life, and she was the cornerstone of theirs.
She is survived by her husband, Sam DiSalvatore, her children, Sam (Dana) DiSalvatore, Noelle (Jay)Johnson, Mark DiSalvatore and Marian Miklacic, 13 grandchildren, her brother John Paolillo, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Anthony 'Punt' Paolillo and her son-in-law , Mike Miklacic.
Calling hours are Friday, July 18th 6:00 to 8:00PM at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. Funeral service will be on Saturday, at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
