Lois Elaine (Corey) Saunders

Lois Elaine Saunders 71 of Sheffield Oh Has sadly passed away on June 26th 2021 at Geauga Medical Center , Chardon oh She was born on July 17th 1949 in Ashtabula oh the daughter of Edward O. Corey and Loretta J.(Peterson) Corey And has been a lifetime resident.. Lois worked for Diamond Shamrock for several years as a custodian and Ershigs as a laborer where she had a serious accident with ended her career .She was a homemaker. She married Clyde G Saunders on December 28th 1963 in Ashtabula 56 years of marriage they have traveled many states together. She enjoyed gardening, macrame and loved feeding & caring for her own hummingbirds and her 2 dogs Toby (Poppers) and Baby. She loved most of all being with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving her is her husband Clyde G Saunders, son Bruce E. Saunders of Sheffield Oh, daughter Linette E. Wiley (Fiancé Jim Lomas) both of Sheffield Oh. , daughter Lisa L(Rick) Makepeace of North Kingsville Oh .14 grandchild Jimmer(Carissa) Wiley , Justin(Cyille)Wiley, Jordan(Meg)Wiley, Eddie(Shelby)Saunders,LindsaySaunders, Brooke Saunders , Allison Makepeace .CJ(Teresa)Saunders,Kari Saunders, Tiffany Saunders ,Tabetha Saunders, BJ Saunders, Angie Saunders .17 Great grandchildren Little Justin, Cendel,Cali Jaye, Little Jimmer, Julia,Arianah,Avery,Amiyah,Nathan,Brooklyn, Tristan,Dominic,Chandler,Brianna,Chloe,Noah,Camden.Three sisters Carol Mezak and Sharon(Don) Herron , Tina Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her son Clyde R.Saunders and grandson "Lil" Evan D.Saunders four brothers.. Henry, Ronald, Raymond, and Lynn Corey.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (June 30th) @3pm in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 west 19th Street Ashtabula Oh with the Rev.Kenny Roberts officiating Visitation will be at 2pm till time of services at 3pm Memorial Contributions can be made to the family in c/o Linette Wiley 4062 Maple Rd , Ashtabula Oh Following Services there will be a gathering of family and friends at Fraternal order of Eagles 2601 West Ave .Ashtabula Oh.
