Laura Jane Leviege-Thomas

ASHTABULA - Laura Jane Leviege Thomas, age 51, died Friday July 11, 2025. Born April 30, 1974, in Warren, OH., the daughter of Rose Mary and the late Gaston S. Leviege. 

Laura lived a private, quiet, and peaceful life in Ashtabula. She cherished the simple pleasures—preparing meals for family, sharing laughter with friends, and offering kindness and care to those around her. Above all, Laura found her greatest joy and fulfillment in her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. Her enduring love for her family was the center of her life and remains a lasting legacy.

Laura leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Oneisha Thomas; her grandson, Ja’Bari Jackson of Ashtabula; her mother, Rose Mary Leviege of Andover; sisters Barbara (Murphy) West, Joyce (Willie) Taylor of Ashtabula, and Diettra (George) Jeskey of Beaver Falls, PA; brothers Gilbert Leviege of Andover and Caleb (Sarah) Leviege of Gambrills, MD; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gaston S. Leviege; daughter Keyonna S. Thomas and brothers, Richard Leviege and Julian P. Leviege.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Tuesday , July 22,2025 from 5 to 7 Pm. at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 West 19th Street, Ashtabula, Ohio. Service will begin at 7 P.M.
