Kristine Noel Dondrea

Kristine “Kristy” Noel Dondrea, age 49, went home to Heaven to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  Kristine was born in Ashtabula on December 26, 1972. She was the daughter of Charles and Donna (Lander) Dondrea.  Kristine was a graduate of Edgewood High School, class of 1991.  Kristine received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Baldwin-Wallace College.  In 2011, Kristine earned her master’s degree in forensic psychology from Tiffin University.

Kristine was a resident of Berea, Ohio. She was employed at Community Support Services, a Mental Health Agency in Akron, Ohio since December 2009. She served as a juvenile probation officer in both the state of North Carolina and Ohio for 25 years. She is survived by Carey Estok and their 10-year-old son Kellan Estok, her father Charles S. Dondrea, her sister Beth (David) Hayes, her nephew Aden, nieces Madison, Isabel, Rosemary Hayes and extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother Donna Dondrea.

Kristine was a loving mother who enjoyed taking her son to horseback riding, music therapy at Baldwin-Wallace, and swimming. Her love for her son was incomparable and indescribable. Kristine will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and her death will impact all those who were closest to her. F

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Dec. 28, 2022 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula . Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
