Judith C. Hakundy

Judith C. Hakundy (80) of Ashtabula passed on Nov. 25 2023 at the Lantern of Saybrook.

Born Oct. 4, 1943 in Conneaut she was the daughter of Harley and Dorothy (Crandall) Tisdale.

Judith graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1962 and retired from Carlisles after many years of service. She was a longtime member of Saybrook United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sisters Lois Powell of Ashtabula and Susan Knighton of Edgewater Fla. 12 nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 47 years Marland Hakundy, sisters Betty Zanzig and Joy Brindley, brother James Tisdale, niece Cathy Tisdale, and nephew John Zanzig.

Memorial service will be on Friday Dec. 1 at 11:00 A.M. in Saybrook United Methodist Church, burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
