Joyce Ruth (Holdt) Shaughnessy

Joyce Ruth Shaughnessy (71) of Ashtabula passed on Aug. 17, 2021 at home.

Born Sept. 3, 1949 in East Cleveland, she was the daughter of Jack and Bernice (Skelton) Holdt.

Joyce was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Medical Assistance. Joyce retired from agencies for disadvantaged women. She enjoyed her grandchildren, dog, watching movies and documentaries, the beach and the lake.

Survivors include her son Stephen (Julie) Shaughnessy, grandchildren Teagen and Kylie Shaughnessy, brothers Mike and Terry Holdt, sister Chris Ledbetter, many cousins and her dog Ozzy.

Celebration of Life will be on Monday at Noon at 235 Minnesota Ave. Ashtabula. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the V.A. condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
