John Carmen Crudele

John Carman Crudele 91, passed away on May 18, 2019 in Bradenton, FL.

Born in Ashtabula Oct. 11, 1927 to John & Mary Baffa Crudele.  John attended Edgewood High School and entered the Merchant Marines in 1945.  John married Carol Whiting on July 10, 1948.  John worked for the CEI , owned 2 Service stations and built homes in Ashtabula.  John & Carol moved their family to Plantation, FL in 1963 and he worked in the home building industry for many years then moved to Bradenton, FL in 2011.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Berniece and sisters-in-law Phyllis Crudele & Patricia Bedell, brothers-in-law John Emmel & Walter Bedell.  John is survived by Carol, their 3 daughters: Lynne (Edd) Garbrick of Bradenton, FL, Janice (Kimm) Harris of Marietta, GA and Gail (Chris) Mellow of Summerville, SC. : 5 grandchildren: Christina Garbrick of Charlotte, NC, Rebecca (Trenton) LaFave of Bradenton, FL, Shad Haneline of Barnesville, GA, Angela (Trent) Arnold of Longview, TX, Ashley Harris of Barnesville, GA:  3 great-grandchildren: Blake LaFave, Taylor LaFave and Leighton Arnold.   Brother James Crudele of Margate, FL and sister-in-law Betty Emmel of Columbus, OH.  Nephews: Lester (Linda) Crudele of Oregon, Dennis (Lauren) Crudele of Pompano Beach, FL, Jeffrey (Kelly) Crudele of Pittsburgh, PA, Walter (Tina) Bedell of Zephyrhills, FL & Mark Bedell of Stone Mountain, GA, nieces: Karen (David) Turano of Columbus, OH, Sandra Moore of Columbus, OH, Suzanne (Larry) Parsons of Mustang, OK.  Along with many great nieces & nephews. Funeral Service will be on Thursday May 30 at noon in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery , Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 11:00 till Noon.
