JoAnne Marie (Potter) Hackathorn

Jo Anne Marie (Potter) Hackathorn, 69, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on August 27, 2025, at ARMC hospital. Jo Anne was a graduate of Ashtabula Harbor High School. She had many meaningful jobs including Lunch Lady at the local elementary schools and delivering meals to seniors for Meals on Wheels.  She was a member of the Catholic Church, teaching Sunday School for preschoolers at Mother of Sorrows Church and helping out with fish fries St Joseph Church.  Jo Anne was a devoted daughter and mother, and loved spending time with her family and baking for them. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carmel Potter, and father, Raymond Potter. She is survived by her former husband, Paul Hackathorn; brother, Richard Potter; son, Joseph Hackathorn; and daughter, Kelly Tackett.
