Herman Eugene "Jack" jackson

Herman Eugene “Jack” Jackson (83) of Ashtabula passed on Jan. 11, 2023 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Born March 4, 1939 in Columbus Georgia he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson.

Jack worked at Union Carbide and retired from Elkem Metals after 40 years of service. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Cavs, Indians, and Browns. He also like country music and gambling.

Survivors include his sons Jimmy Jackson , Tommy (MaryJo) Jackson , daughter Denise (Joe) Herron , and Mary Ann Palumbo , grandchildren Alisha (Kevin) McLaughlin  ,April (Nick) Merlene , Joe (Kate) Herron , Megan (Michael)Alazawi , great grandchildren Emma , Brody ,Rockne , Madison , Patrick , and Benjamin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 59 years Filomena Jackson, and many brothers and sisters.
