Helen (Diurba) Schimley-Durst

Helen (Schimley) Durst 89, of Orwell , passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, at Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

     She was born December 20, 1927 in Sharpsville , Pa. the daughter of John and Susan Grexa Diurba.

     Helen was a former employee of Kennametal and Kay Dee Manufacturing both in Orwell. She was a member of Orwell Methodist Church.     She was preceded in death by her parents , brothers John ,Joseph, George ,and Paul Diurba , sisters Mary Petrula , Susan Stacconi , and Ann Fester.     Survivors include daughters Carol Krieg , Pat (Tom) Ahola , Bonnie (Vaughn) Paine, Debbie Schimley , sons Tom and Ed Schimley , 10 grandchildren , and 14 great grandchildren.     Funeral service will be on Saturday September 23 at 11:00 A.M. in Orwell Methodist Church with burial to follow in Johnston Twp. Cemetery.     Visitation will be from 10 to 11 on Saturday at the church.
