Elizabeth Rose Stitt (73) of Ashtabula passed on Nov. 30, 2025 at the Geneva Rehabilitation Center.
Born Aug. 16, 1952 in Geneva Pa. she was the daughter of Charles and Violet Fultz.
Elizabeth graduated from Edgewood High School and was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a medic. She ran a Harvest Home in Gainesville Fla. And for many years a bakery in uptown Ashtabula. She was the first women in a trial surgery for a gastrointestinal pacemaker in her abdomen. On Jan. 23, 2019 she was married by Chaplain Dorian Morrel to Roger C. Stitt.
Survivors include her sister Carol (Byron) Landolfi , brother Charles (Benelda) Fultz , niece Krista Landolfi , Missy (Ryan) Coy , Cheyanne (Ron) Bowers all who have been there for Elizabeth , many other nieces and nephews , special friends Diane Lane , Mike and Emily Pekich.
She was preceded in death by her parents , son Christopher Naftzger , Husband Roger C. Stitt who passed in April of this year, sisters Debbie Stills, Anita Fultz, brothers Vern , David , and John Fultz , nieces Kimberly and Krista Landolfi , Holly Ann Fultz , aunt and uncle Bob and Polly Kleckner , and her service dog Rosie Faye on Oct. 3.
Visitation will be on Wednesday Dec. 3 from 3 to 5 at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19 St. in Ashtabula with prayer service to follow. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
