Never a man to rest, Dave had many part-time jobs after retirement and shared fond memories of them all.

He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and as a devout catholic, his faith and family were the most important parts of his life. He made a friend everywhere he went, he was well-known in the community, and would always try to put a smile on your face. He had a love of nature and animals; he would sit on the patio for hours and just listen to the birds, and always made sure he had dog treats readily available for any neighborhood dogs walking by.
