Daniel Louis Standy

Daniel Louis “Junior” Standy (74) of Ashtabula passed on April 6, 2026 at ARMC.

Born April 13, 1951 in Ashtabula he was the son of Louis and Pauline (Povh) Standy.

Dan graduated from St. John High School class of 1969 were he excelled in football. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Dan was retired from public works with the City of Ashtabula.

In his free time he enjoyed being a handy man, lawn care, fishing, and helping his neighbors.

Survivors include his wife Mary Standy, daughters Jamie Carmel (Jerah) Tharp, Sunda Munger, sisters Donna (Mike) Parmigian, Carol Standy-Rose, and his beloved dog Emma.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be on Friday April 10 at 2 P.M. at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19 St. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard Team from Post 103. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from Noon till 2 at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
