Clarence DelPrince, 86, of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, November 8 with his wife and family by his side.
Born Aug, 28, 1935 in Ashtabula he was the son of Barnaba and Pasquq (Frabutt) DepPrincepe.
A 60-year native of Ashtabula, OH, Clarence spent three years proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army while stationed in Puerto Rico. After his time in the Army, he started a family with his beloved wife Janet of 62 years, whom he first met at his school bus stop. He devoted his life to his family, spending early days on family camping adventures and attending local amusement parks. For 12 years, he was heavily involved in Ashtabula’s Little League Baseball as a coach, operating committee member and patron. Clarence worked for several industrial plants in Ashtabula before retiring in his 50s, at which time he and Janet moved to Fishers, Indiana to be close to family and newly-made friends. He enjoyed local festivals, cooking and sampling different foods around central Indiana.
Clarence is survived by his wife Janet; brother Roland; children David (Linda), Billy, Randy (Sherrie), Joey (Nan) and Aaron (Kim); grandchildren Giovanni (Amanda), A.J. (Maddy), Anna, Koryn and Jenna; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Pasqua Frabutt and father Barnaba DelPrincepe; brothers Guy, Benny, Ercole, and Tommy DelPrince Sr.; and granddaughter Mia DelPrince.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14 from 3-5 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 5:00 pm, all at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th Street Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
