Carol Mary (Whiting) Crudele

Carol Mary Whiting Crudele, 90 passed away on Dec. 28, 2019 in Barnesville,GA.

Born in Ashtabula, OH on July 7, 1929 to Walter (Jack) and Mary (Crofoot) Whiting.  She graduated from Harbor High School and married the love of her life John Carman Crudele in 1948.  She worked at Farmers National Bank until she & John moved their family to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1963.  She worked in banking there until her retirement.  She was an avid gardener & had an awesome green thumb.  She is preceded in death by her husband John who passed away in May of this year, her parents, sister Patricia Bedell, sisters in law: Phyllis Crudele, Berniece Cadle, brothers in law: James Crudele, Walter Bedell, William Cadle & John Emmel.  She is survived by her sister Betty Emmel, daughters: Lynne (Edd) Garbrick of Bradenton, FL,  Janice (Kimm) Harris of Marietta, GA and Gail (Chris) Mellow of Summerville, SC.  Grandchildren: Christina Garbrick, Rebecca (Trenton) LaFave, Shad (Krystal) Haneline, Angela (Trent) Arnold, Ashley Harris (fiancé Shane Dinkins), great grandchildren: Blake & Taylor LaFave and Leighton Arnold.  Nieces: Karen (David) Turano, Sandra Moore, Suzanne Parsons, nephews: Lester (Linda) Crudele, Dennis (Lauren) Crudele, Jeffrey ( Kelly) Crudele, Walter (Tina) Bedell, Mark Bedell.  Services will be held at Guerriero Funeral Home on Jan.4 , 2020 at Noon and burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
