Barry R. Switzer

Barry Switzer, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on May 7, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Prior to his illness, Switzer dedicated his life to various labor and construction occupations. He cherished spending time with his children, engaging in card games and video games. Additionally, he found solace in fishing and disc golf.

Switzer is survived by his parents, Sarah and Albert Newman; his children, Kimberly Switzer (Paul), Terri Carr (Dillon), and Roy Switzer; and three grandchildren, Jayden, Jaxson and Jai. His siblings, John Henry (Deb), Tom (Theresa), and Harry, also share his memory.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
