Barbara L. Rollins passed away peacefully at home in Ashtabula, Ohio on Monday, January 24th, 2022, at age 83. Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 27th, 1938 to Eileen Brown (Chuck), and Leland Artress (Rose).
Barbara was known for her strong work ethic, she worked several jobs throughout the county making friends along the way. Some of her work experience included a barmaid for several locations including the American Legion and Sons of Italy, she was a City Cab dispatcher in Ashtabula, Ohio, and put in 13+ years at Glastics in Jefferson, Ohio.
Barbara had several hobbies and collections over her lifetime. She loved to tend to her gardens at home or wherever the land needed loved, she always made sure fresh flowers were blooming and the birds were always “well” fed. She had an extravagant collection of bunnies, from pictures, blankets, to the smallest figurines. Barbara was also known for her infamous line, “gonna shop till’ you drop”, during her many shopping adventures.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Rollins, parents, Eileen Brown (Chuck Brown), mother, and Leland Artress, father.
She is survived by her three sisters JoAnn McGreevy, Bobby Ovak, and Colleen Artress, her six children, Lori Francis, Kenny Smith, Jolene Kampf (Kevin), Pris Green (Bob), Denise Rylance (Steve), and Dennis Rylance and numerous grandchildren, Gary Dibble (Roberta), Kristen Dibble, Katrena Dibble, Karen Marunowski (Jeff); Brittany Rogers and Stephanie Vance; Jacqueline Busher (Andrew), RJ. Riley, Stephanie Kampf, Cheyenne Kampf, Howard Kampf; Amber Marshall (Aaron), Richard Green III; John Luden (Katrina); Triston Rylance. Barbara also has several great grandchildren that she cared deeply for.
