ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP — Albina M. (Secchiari) Cellitti, age 90, a life-long resident of Ashtabula, died peacefully Monday morning, October 13, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic Main after a brief illness. Born April 21, 1935 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Guilio and Valia (Bellone) Secchiari. Her Aunt and Uncle Santina and Steve Tomassini closely guided her young life. Albina was a 1953 graduate of Ashtabula High School. On July 16, 1955 she married Eugene Cellitti of Anagni, Italy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ashtabula. She was a homemaker since 1975. Prior to that she worked as Personnel Department Secretary for Molded Fiber Glass Company and Rockwell International in Ashtabula. She and her husband owned and operated a small grocery store in Conneaut, OH a few years following their marriage. Albina enjoyed cooking Italian cuisine for her family and close friends, gardening, wintering in southern Florida and occasional casino trips. She was dedicated to her family and Church. A life member of Our Lady of Peace (Mt. Carmel) Church, she served on the Altar & Rosary Society there. Albina enjoyed her high school girls social club as well. She will be remembered for her quiet, loving, kind, strong and cheerful spirit. Survivors include her children Steven Cellitti (Gayle DiNunzio) of Colorado Springs, CO. Rosanna Maley (Thomas Knittel) and Mark (Patricia) Cellitti and sister Carol (Secchiari) Morris all of Ashtabula County. She was beloved by her six grandchildren, Lauren, Wendy and Anthony Maley; Stefanie Cellitti Logut, Tara Cellitti and Lindsey Fuentes. Great-grandchildren Gianni and Adriana Maley and Dakari Middlebrooks will lovingly remember her. She had many nieces and nephews. Albina was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brothers, Ray and Anthony Secchiari and sister Gloria (Secchiari) Ray. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 20 at Our Lady of Peace (Mt. Carmel) Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours on Sunday, Oct. 19 from 4-6 pm at Guerriero Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady Peace Church or Saint John’s Catholic School.
