William J. Black (92) of North Kingsville died Dec. 2, 2019 at ACMC.

Born Nov. 28, 1927 in Girard Ohio he was the son of William and Stella (Munhall) Black.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII. In 1947 he married his wife of 63 years the former Pauline Hreha in St. Andrews Church Sheffield.  Mr. Black worked for Koski Construction and retired from Linde Air after working for over 50 years.

He was a member of St. Andrews Church, Teamsters Union, American Legion Post 0743,   and the VFW. He enjoyed mowing, yard work, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter Shirley (Jim) Andrejack) , grandchildren Kim (Dan) Canale , William Black III , Mark Black , David ( Cari Ann) Black , great grandchildren Ana and Ami Canale , Brandon Black, and sister in law Dona Hreha.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pauline Black, son William J. Black Jr., sister Lena Russell, brothers James, Clarence, and Norman Black.

Funeral mass will be Saturday at 12:30 St. Andrews Church 3700 State Route 193 Sheffield. . Visitation 10:30 to 12 also at church burial to follow Greenlawn Memory Gardens were military honors will be conducted. Condolences made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
