Walter M. Kulis Jr. (86) of Bedford passed on April 7 at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Hts.

Born March 6, 1935 in Cleveland he was the son of Walter and Mary (Plata) Kulis. Walter was a veteran the the United States Army and on June 9, 1962 he married the former Pauline Izzi in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ashtabula. He is retired from General Motors. Walter was a member of Our Lady of Hope parish in Bedford. He enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter Renee Kulis-Schuster and a granddaughter Stephanie Schuster.

He was preceded in death by his parents , wife Pauline Kulis , an sisters Genevieve Zdunczyk and Monica Kucera

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 12 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery were military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army, Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 6 at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th st. in Ashtabula. condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
