Steven "Chubby" Brown , born on Oct. 23, 1946 in Pittsburgh Pa. and moving to Ashtabula in July of 1956, transitioned to be with the Lord on Wednesday , September 16, 2020.

Chubby was quite gifted at playing the guitar. He played for several R and B bands in the area; played for the Blues Project for over 20 years, God's Own Chosen gospel group ;Brotherhood Chorus, the Male Chorus; and for the New Spirit Gospel Choir of Peoples Missionary Baptist Church.

Chubby leaves to cherish his only sister, Daphne D. Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews. H was preceded in death by his father, E.J, Brown , his mother Bivian Lowery and two brothers Percy Brown and Lawrence Lowery.

Memorial service will be held for him at Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th st. Ashtabula on Monday September 28, 2020 with vistation starting at 12:30 and service beginning at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Dr. German Womack Jr. officiating The family is asking that you wear masks.
