Shirley Louise Hanger (80) of Ashtabula died on Aug. 23, 2017 at the Carrington Park Home.

Born June 6, 1937 in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Carmen and Madeline (Solembrino) DeAnna.

Shirley graduated from Ashtabula High School class of 1955 and in 1959 she married Lamar Hanger in Ashtabula. She enjoyed flowers and home decorating.

Survivors include her daughter Marilyn (James) Zoretich of Beaver Falls, son Terry Hanger of Ashtabula , grandchildren Kevin Zoretich , Heather Newchek , Karla Seery , Ryan Freede , Krishtopher Zoretich, Terry Hanger Jr. , Shea Hanger , Brieanna Hanger , and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents , son Mark Hanger , and brother Louis DeAnna.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 5 P.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences and extended obituary at guerrierofuneralhome.com
