Rita Monda (83) of Ashtabula died on Oct. 17, 2016 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Born April 20, 1933 in Ashtabula she was the daughter of Umberto and Florence Notarianni.

On May 24, 1952 She married Anthony Monda . Her enjoyment came from her family, her grandchildren, cooking and baking.

Survivors included her children Mark (Kathy) Monda of Concord Twp. , Danny (Nancy) Monda of San Diego Ca. , Karen (Larry) Arcaro of Ashtabula , Chris (Theresa) Monda of Ashtabula , grandchildren Melodi , Anthony , Gina , Macie , Nick and several great grandchildren , many brothers and sisters and beloved dog Belle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Anthony Monda.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday Oct. 20 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with Father Raymond Thomas officiating, burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula.
