She was an avid bingo player, a frequent casino guest, a good cook, and an enthusiastic bargain hunter.  Oleta was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister who cherished time spent with family.  She will be remembered for her concern for others, her love of family, her sense of humor, and her interest in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives. She was loved deeply and leaves a legacy that will live on with everyone who knew her.

Oleta is survived by her children: Marcheta (Stanley) Wojtowicz of Ashtabula, John Greenlief of Ashtabula, Sharon Helton of Newark, Ohio, Kathleen (James) Kline of Perry, Ohio, and Calvin (Mia) Crawford of Ashtabula. She is survived by grandchildren:  Laveta Valente, Marla (Joseph) Schor, Christina (David) Jones, James R. Helton, Ronald Pal, Robert Watson, Olivia Kline, Monica Kline, Donald V. Crawford, Joseph Crawford, and Grace Crawford. She is survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She is survived by her sister, Mary Gaines of North Kingsville, and her niece, Wanda Gaines of Ashtabula.

Oleta was preceded in death by the love of her life, Donald C. Crawford, her parents, stepfather, Audra Allen, daughter, Sheila Watson, son-in-law, James Helton, grandchildren, David Helton, Mark Pal, and Andrew Watson, brother-in-law, William Gaines, and niece, Marcia Gaines.
