Mary Lou Trent, 66, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 following a short illness. Mary Lou was born on October 19, 1957 in Ashtabula, Ohio to William (Bill) and Arlene (Huffman) Trent. She lived almost all of her life in the Ashtabula area with exception of several months in Florida. Mary Lou worked at Iten Fiber for a number of years. She was truly a generous person to her family and friends. She would never hesitate to help out when the need arose.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Joyce and brother-in-law Bill Pohto. Mary Lou is survived by her son Brian Trent, granddaughter Jesse, and two great grandsons (Jordan and Hakeem). Also brother Richard and sister-in-law Lori (Quinn) Trent, brother Ken Trent, brother Donald and sister-in-law Sharon (Weyant) Trent and several nephews and nieces, several great nephews and great nieces and several great-great nephews and great-great nieces.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday March 27, 2024 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula. Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brother Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will take place in Edgewood Cemetery following the short service.
