Mary K. “Kathe” Palumbo of Ashtabula passed away peacefully October 6, 2026. Kathe was born September 9, 1944. She was the youngest daughter of Geraldine and Clinton Warren.

Kathe graduated from St. John High School and Kent State University Cum Laude. She retired from Ashtabula City Schools after many years of teaching. Kathe enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, summer time, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia Taylor, and her brother James Warren.

Kathe is survived by her beloved husband Terrance “Terry” Palumbo; her daughters Kellee (Tom) Savarise, Kerry(Preston) Sulin and Terran (Ray) Torres; her granddaughters Maegan(Max) Savarise-Nerone and Meredith Savarise, Olivia, Sophia, and Isabella Torres and Brittany Sulin; her sister Judith Craig; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved chocolate lab Bubba.

The family would like to thank Bella Care Hospice and her caregivers, “the girls,” that took such good care of her.
