Margaret M. Grippi (102) of Ashtabula passed on Dec. 24, 2021 at the Saybrook Landing surrounded by her family.

Born Dec. 15, 1919 in Conneaut she was the daughter of Cosmo and Maria (Gildone) DiLiello.

On April 21, 1941 she married her husband Steve Grippi of 57 years in St. Mary's Church in Conneaut. Mrs. Grippi was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards, and was a winter resident of the Villages Fla. For many years.

Survivors include her son Steve (Angela) Grippi, daughter Donna (Michael) Matticola, grandchildren Elizabeth (Don) Suhadolnik, Brian (Jill) Matticola, Michele (Brian) Sundstrom, John (Laura) Matticola, seven great grandchildren Megan (McClure)  Misch, Shawn McClure, Mitchell and Dalton Dragon,  Derrick Sundstrom , Giovanni and Nicolino Matticola. .and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steve Grippi, sisters Ange Zona, Mary Arcaro, brothers Christy, Lenard, Salvatore, and Andy Dello.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday Dec.29 at Noon in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:30 till Noon.
