Lucille Marie Labry (83) of Ashtabula passed on Dec. 20, 2022 in Geneva, Ohio.

Born April 17, 1939 in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of William Sr. and Margaret (Presciano) Ruffo.

Lucille was employed for 29 years by Rockwell International Plastics Division, five years by Ashtabula County Society for the handicapped, and retired after 10 years with the Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority in September 2003.

She married William Labry in September of 2003. Lucille was a member of Our Lady of Peace, Mt Carmel Church, were she was a past pastoral council member, member of Hope Ministry, and greeter at mass. She was past member of ACMC Ladies Auxiliary, and a poll worker.

Lucille enjoyed traveling with her husband to Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, California, Florida, Cape Cod, many bus trips and casinos.  They enjoyed playing golf together and loved to dance, watching TV, and playing cards.  She enjoyed entertaining for family and friends and continued all the holiday traditions since her mother passed away.

Her two nieces and their children meant the world to her.

Survivors include her husband William Labry, sister Carol Weaver , brother William Ruffo Jr. ,  nieces Vickie Mascarello , Tammie (Carmen) DeAnna, great nephews Anthony Mascarello ,Jacob DeAnna , great niece Kalie Mascarello and Sandra Maunus who was like a sister to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and first husband Frank Carlo.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday Dec. 23 at Noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday morning from 10 till 11:30 in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. Memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish.
