John Steven Manyo Jr. passed to eternal rest on March 19, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. John was affectionately known as Jack to his family and friends. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to MarySue Carbon Manyo, father to Natalie and John, grandfather to John Jr. and Alexandria Manyo. His surviving siblings are Jane (Joseph) Mahoney, Mary (Mark) Swortwood and Julie Manyo. He was proceeded in death by his parents John Manyo Sr. and Dorothy (Meaney) Manyo. Jack graduated in 1974 from St. John High school, excelling in basketball and track, making lifelong friendships. He enjoyed working hard and did so for 37 years at Firestone Tire Company. During retirement, his "fun" jobs were tending bar at the East Ashtabula Club and delivering for Lakeshore Auto Parts. Jack loved his family, friends, co-workers, children, animals, nature and the Cleveland Browns. He took great joy in feeding everyone, being famous for his chicken soup, pickles and hot peppers. He could also man a mean grill! Basketball, travel, gardening, spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren, were just a few of his interests. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his great kindness, generosity, humor and love.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 25 at 11:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Visitation will be on Thursday morning at the church from 10:00 to 11:30. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
