Helen Turchik (93) of Ashtabula passed on Sep. 3, 2019 in Geneva.

Born May 25, 1926 in Fairport Harbor, Ohio she was the daughter of Steve and Elizabeth Rinyo.

Helen Married Peter Turchik in 1949, she worked at IRC Fibers over 30 years till its closing. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, and baking.

Survivors include her brother Joseph Rinyo and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter Turchik, brother Steve Rinyo Jr. , and sisters Eleanor McCabe, and Margaret Majoros.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (Friends are asked to go directly to the church) with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's children's hospital.
