Geraldine Margret Notter, 87, a resident, of Ashtabula died Friday at Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Born May 8, 1929 in Ashtabula she was the daughter of Michael and Loretta (DeChurch) Orsuto.

She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and worked as secretary and later, owner of Notter Electric.

She belonged to many organizations; the Altar and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,

Catholic Daughters of America, Anita Garibaldi Lodge of Ashtabula,  Italian Sons and Daughters of America, a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel), and the Elks Lodge of Ashtabula.

She enjoyed Bocci, bowling, gardening, cooking, and baking. She spent time traveling with her late husband Henry and "The Club;" most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children Kathy (Guy) Severino, Gerriann (Dave) Kiphart, Jennifer (Bill) Allan, Henry (Cyndi) Notter, grandchildren Laura Latkovich, Leslie Severino, Lisa Laituri, Lyndsay Stills, Eddie Mongenel, Katie Allan, Nichole Pinta,  Connie Notter, and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry Notter, brothers, Donald, Reynold, Nick and twin brother Gerald.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish on Monday, January 23, 2017, 11:00 A.M. followed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ashtabula.  Visitation will take place at the Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 West 19th Street, Ashtabula, Ohio on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. An Anita Garabaldi Service will begin at 2:30.
