Geraldine Platano (90) of Ashtabula died on Sunday March 12, 2017 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.Born July 19, 1926 in Ashtabula she was the daughter of Steven and Rachael (Baffa) Moscorelli.

Geraldine was a graduate of Edgewood High School class of 1944 and the White Cross Beauty School in 1946.  She was the Managing Cosmetologist at Adrian's Beauty Shoppe with over 60 years of service. Mrs. Platano was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and the Edgewood Alumni Association.

Survivors include her daughter Lynett Sue (Kevin) Smith of Ashtabula , sister Virginia Rose Izzi of Ashtabula , brother Leonard Moscorelli, nieces JoAnne (Dennis) Murphy and their daughter Tiffani Murphy , Addie Izzi , and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Saturday March 18th at 11:00 A.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.  Condolences and guestbook at guerrierofuneralhome.com
