Ella "Louise" Dewees (91) of Ashtabula died March 19, 2017 at the Saybrook Landing.Born April 9, 1925 in Wirt County West Virginia she was the daughter of  Okey and Edna (Pepper) Richard. Mrs. Dewess also lived in Painesville and Perry.

Survivors include her daughter Sheila (Charles) Mc Cormick of Ashtabula, grandchildren Natalie McCormick of Ashtabula, Chris (Scott) Eastlake of Colorado Sp. Co. , Charles McCormick Jr. of Columbus Ohio, great grandchildren Alexis Eastlake, Aaron Eastlake ,  step sons Richard Dewees of Ashtabula , Stan (Dagmar) Dewees of Geneva , Step daughter Theresa Mahalick of Ashtabula , 4 step grandchildren , 6 great grandchildren , brother Lester Richard of Indiana , sister Lyla Kopshina of Fla. , and lots of other loving extended family!

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Kenneth "Jack" Mathess, second husband Al Dewees, and great grandson Mathew Laymen

Funeral service will be on Thursday March 23 at Noon in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula with Bella Care Hospice Chaplin Joshua Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville. Visitation will be on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 10:30 until the time of the service.
