Edda M. DeGeorge (84) of Ashtabula died on Sunday evening at the University Hospital in Cleveland.

Born Jan. 9, 1932 in Collecorvino Italy she moved to the United States as a 19 year old.

Mrs. DeGeorge was a retired seamstress working at Morell Dress Factory and she was a wonderful cook. Edda was a member of the Our Lady of Miracles (St. Joseph Mission).

Survivors include her children Linda Hines, Darla Bates, and John DeGeorge Jr., 4 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 65 years John DeGeorge in 2016.

Entombment will be on Thursday at Noon in St. Joseph Cemetery. Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. Ashtabula is handling funeral arraignments.
