Earl A. Tilden, age 81, passed away at his home with his family by his side on July 13, 2020, in Milledgeville, Georgia

Born November 27, 1938 in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of Earl J. and Albena M. Tilden.

He graduated from Geneva High School. He served in the United States Air Force as Military Police. He worked in law enforcement for the village of Geneva-on-the-Lake and for the Ashtabula County Sheriff Department before retiring from First Energy.

Earl and his wife Rose just celebrated 57 years of marriage. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and loved playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl J. Tilden and Albena M. Tilden (Lombardo) and his son, Robert A. Tilden.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie Tilden, of Milledgeville, GA; his daughters Victoria (Thomas) Kennedy of Ashtabula, Wendy (Ed) Clarkson of Grayling, MI, and Kimberly Pearson of Milledgeville, GA; grandchildren Lindsay Hof, Megan Hidritch, Alexander Halcrow, Matthew Pearson, Rebecca Pearson, and many great grandchildren.
