Connie M. Loomis (77) of Saybrook Twp. passed on Sep. 4 , 2023 at home.

Born June 6, 1946 in Conneaut Ohio, she was the daughter of Wade and Irene (Clayman) Luce.

Connie graduate from Edgewood High School class of 1964.  She enjoyed reading , puzzles , computer games , but most of all she loved to crochet.

Survivors include her husband Norman Loomis Jr. ,  children Steven , Karen  , Norman III ,  Ann , Trudy, and Julie ,  many grandchildren and great grandchildren  sisters Darla and Christine , brothers Russell and Jerry .

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Nancy Smith , and brother John Luce.

When God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with Me" , He didn"t like what you went through so he gave you rest, His garden must be beautiful , He only takes the best.  Today we say goodbye and as you take your final rest, that garden must be beautiful because you are one of the very best.  We will miss you every day, from loving husband and children

Funeral will be on Friday Sep. 8 at Noon in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. with burial to follow in in Saybrook Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday morning at the funeral home from 10:30 till 12.
