On Sunday, February 16, 2020 Caroline Marie Snyder, devoted wife and mother, passed away at the age of 83.

Caroline was born December 8, 1936 in Ashtabula, the daughter of William and Rose (DiGiacomo) Guerriero. She attended Ashtabula high School and was the Valedictorian of her high School class of 1954. She later graduated from Notre Dame College in 1958, and began her career as a teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Elementary School and later West Junior High School.  On August 13, 1960 Caroline married Louis V. Snyder and together they raised seven children.

Caroline was known for her kind and compassionate spirt and infectious Smile. She was a passionate educator. She enjoyed writing and was well known for her baking. Her life centered around her family, friends, and faith.

Survivors include her husband Louis Snyder , children Rose Ann (Joseph) Ciaravino , William (Sharron)  , Mary Lou (Richard) Fox , Louie (Jessica) , Josephine Notter , Carolyn (Terence) Halloran , Nancy (James) McGhin , brother Anthony ( Rosemary) Guerriero , nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday February 21st at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula.
