Bette Lou Acitelli (81) of Ashtabula went home to her heavenly Father on Wednesday Jan. 13, 2021 in her home.

Born May 22, 1939 in Ashtabula she was the daughter of Earl and Charlotte (Beverly) Burlingame.

Bette was an Ashtabula native having recently returning from Green Valley Az. to be with family and friends.  Bette was an Associate member of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Member of Our Lady of Peace Parish Ashtabula , Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church of Green Valley, Italian Catholic Federation where she held many offices ,  Catholic Daughters of America just to name a few of her accomplishments.

She is survived by her loving husband James A. Acitelli Sr. ,  children Christopher (Jan) Carraher , daughters Andrea (Paul) Petro , of Ashtabula , James (Jill) Acitelli Jr. of Painesville , Jennifer (Paul) Stofan of Ashtabula , grandchildren Elizabeth , Thomas , Katie ,Abigail , Adrianna , Jessica, Cade , and Kaci , great grandchildren Lily , Ella , Penelope , sisters Darla McCabe , Diane Bloom , Donna Shiflet , and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday Jan. 15 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with entombment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sister of Notre Dame. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
